Our Story So Far
Our Development
The Marketing Group is a progressive and dynamic business model that offers clients the opportunity to adopt a more simple and productive way of doing business.
We launched the company in 1995 and built a very successful clothing wholesale business (Spirit of Australia Clothing) under the guidance and management of the Marketing Group. Although we had a varied business background, we learnt quickly how important Marketing and Advertising was to a fledgling business. We quickly adopted a strong Marketing and Advertising platform and without question, this was the reason for the increase in business growth over a short period of time
It was during these early years that we started to develop our own business models that were offered to colleagues and associates in a closed forum. It was at this time that we recognised the benefits of sound business models could make to other organisations. And, over nearly 30 years we slowly implemented a variety of business models that proved to be positive ‘Business Solutions’ for our clients.
Our History
TMG Launch

Marketing & Advertising

Systems & Procedures
We introduced a Systems and Procedures service. These services offered clients advice on the implementation of management methods that assist in the synergy of departments both internal and external.
Sales On Hold Launched
We added to our Marketing and Advertising model and started offering clients one of the most underutilised marketing services, On Hold message and music! This has been a very positive tool for our clients.
Astute Bookkeepers
Astute Bookkeepers was launched to take advantage of the experience accrued by Leanne Kennedy over her extensive career in financial side of business.
Application Services
We added Application Services, which offered support to clients who needed assistance with the more detailed and complexed options in a variety of application.
International Representation
We started to work with companies that were looking to connect with overseas buyers and wholesalers. This was when we started looking at International Representation..
Digital & Social Media
Our most recently added option to our business arsenal was Digital and Social Media. This has been an amazing experience to see how these services can assist dramatically in the launch and growth of today’s business builders.

Listening to our customers is one of our most valued resources. This year we have transitioned to our newly developed DCS (Direct Client Service) model of business. DCS connects our clients directly to our Client Managers bypassing the head office and connecting the customer the person managing all of the clients requirements. The aim to offer a more personal and hands-on approach that our clients have told us they prefer.
Digital & Social Media
After a very successful transition into the DCS (Direct Client Service) model of business, our associated trading companies Sales On Hold and Astute Bookkeepers have also adopted the DCS system and are enjoying the many benefits it offers.
